I'll watch more of this shit show later. I caught some of it on my lunch break though. Tuned in just in time to see Brock Lesnar walking down to cash in, only to get distracted by Paul Heyman tripping over the ropes and Seth taking advantage of it and beating the crap out of him with a chair.

Obviously the rope tripping was planned, but I dunno how I feel about the whole spot. I mean it does get us past Saudi Arabia, they get a cash in attempt without wasting Brock's briefcase entirely, but it just felt like a bit of a cop out all the same. But they wrote themselves into a corner with this whole thing, and disappointment was the only way out no matter what way it went. Unless Seth had actually beaten Brock again, but I dunno how believable that would've been.

Saw Finn/Andrade. Love the Demon entrance of course. Match was ok. Balor retained as expected.

Saw Roman/Shane. Went longer than it should've, and we had to endure more of a top superstar pretending to get beat up by Shane McMahon. It didn't make much sense for Miz, and it makes even less sense for Roman Reigns. I am surprised Shane won, but at least it was due to Drew's Claymore Kick, I can accept that. Just leads to Roman beating Drew at Stomping Ground anyway. ALSO this is Roman's first pinfall loss since returning.

From what I read, Usos vs Revival was "fine". Usos got the win there. I'm assuming Seth vs Baron was also "fine".

Whatever. All I really care about is the 50 man battle royal and Goldberg/Undertaker. Everything else is just filler honestly. They mostly just go through the motions when they're in Saudi Arabia. The matches have never been all that good, but they haven't been all that bad either. Just passable excuses of wrestling.

God damn I fucking hate those lame ass kicks. You two guys just sit there unmoving for 5 hours while I slowly mime kicking you in the chest.

I've had this on in the background at work most of the afternoon. Halfway paying attention. Meh. Totally forgettable show.

It's OK, Taker almost broke Goldberg neck with the tombstone.

Lacey vs. Charlotte was the worst match of the year for only 4 days.

I hope I never see Goldberg or Undertaker ever wrestle again. Holy shit. They damn near killed each other half a dozen times with botches.

Pretty sure it was supposed to be a jackhammer kickout or reversal into Goldberg attempting the tombstone to get reversed into getting tombstoned himself

Taker called an audible and instead ended it w a half ass choke slam instead of retrying the spot... probably a smart move

Goldberg forgot to tuck his chin on that Tombstone and Taker could barely hold onto him. He's lucky he didn't suffer a Stone Cold.

The best part about these shows are the fake outrage in the cagesideseats comment section.

I hope WWE keeps doing them for that reason alone.
