I don't feel its really necessary that we need to have a new thread for each season, we already did away with that with "The NBA thread" same should apply for the NFL as well.

Pre season is already here and the real season will be here before you know it.  Only 1 more season the Rams, Chargers, and Raiders have to play in those dump stadiums they're currently in.  2020 can't come soon enough.  Speaking of the Raiders did anyone hear the story that came out today about Antonio Brown fucking up his feet from using a cryotherapy machine without the proper footwear?  I already knew he was an idiot for wanting to leave the Steelers to go play for the Raiders but this proves it even more LOL

Got to go to 2 days of the Rams training camp this year. Luckily one of those days was full pads.

Raiders fans didn't want to believe they were getting a headache when he signed there. They feel it now though.

Win the Day!

The WR position will be nullified if Oakland's o-line can't keep Carr standing upright.

It sucks for him but I hate to Colts so its hard for me to feel too bad for them, every season I root for anyone else in that division to do well besides them.

No, more like Luck ran out on the Colts.

Why do you hate the Colts other than their shitty owner?

Well the first thing you mentioned obviously. I really didn't mind them so much when they had Manning, in fact I always rooted for them when they played the Patriots back then. I just never really had any interest in seeing them have success post-Manning. I always thought they were a soft, over-rated team with Luck, that played in a weak division. Usually when they made the playoffs their season ended in embarrassing fashion. Plus all the other teams in their division have never won a Super Bowl before and 2 out of the 3 other teams have never even played in one. I hope all 3 teams win a Super Bowl before the Colts win another.

Plus them having Peyton Manning all those years then getting Luck, just didn't feel right. No team should have that kind of timing.

They're celebrating their 10th year. LA beat the undefeated Austin team and will be playing the Seattle Mist for the championship.

Does the championship team and MVP dance upon a strippers pole in the center of the field with the trophy (possibly doing sex acts with it) at the end? It only seems fitting, otherwise why are they even playing? Damn fam we got both Arena Football and bikini slut football still going down strong in 2019, crazy times we're living in...

All of the other teams in that division are all expansion teams too. Can't really fault the Colts for that. Jax and Houston both made the AFC Championship where they lost to Brady just like every other team in the AFC does at some point. That conference won't be up for grabs until he and Belichick decide they dont want it any more.

Interesting that the Colts decided not to recoup almost 25 mil from Luck. My guess: they let him keep that money in hopes he doesn't try suing them down the road over some kind of long term health issue. Makes me wonder if they tank for Tua or tank the next 2 years to get Trevor Lawrence when he's eligible. Crazy part too is the Colts last year looked like they had really turned the page and improved in tons of areas they never had with him. Better o-line, a consistent running game, defense that played pretty well down the stretch, coach that was fresh removed from a Super Bowl staff..you could really argue they were entering peak form to contend or outright win it all in the next 3 years. Now they have to hit the reset button or try to make a trade for a veteran. I've never seen anything like this. Even Barry Sanders early retirement wasn't this shocking.

They aren’t tanking. Stop with that garbage.

Irsay actually cares about his players now days. Read up what he did when McAfee retired. A billionaire asking for money back from a player who gave everything to franchise is a tough look. This is strictly them thanking him. That’s my
Opinion. Colts will be just fine in the long run. Luckily Brissett isn’t complete trash like most back ups.

They aren't tanking? Oh you mean like they did for Luck post-Manning? Brisett is trash bro. Stop it.

Did I mention the past? No, I’m talking this year. They aren’t “tanking”. Be better Will. Brissett is no Luck, that’s obvious but I’m pretty there are about 30 other teams that would take Brissett over who they have. As a Packers fan I’d give up a middle round pick for him and wouldn’t think twice about it.

They have the youngest team in the league, a great O line, a fast D getting back a key DB who missed all of last year and have an absolute FUCK ton of cap space. Add in a very good coach and a GM who knows what he’s doing?? In the long run I think they’ll be fine. Probably no Super Bowl and ultimately, that’s the goal. Without Luck I don’t see that happening but if this team is healthy they still compete for playoffs

Why would you give up a middle round pick for a backup tier QB?

Because if Rodgers goes down this team is trash with what we have behind him. With Brissett, there is a chance of winning and with the way the Packers have drafted in the middle rounds. You’re not losing anything
