Woke up and caught Naito and Sanada good match

Gonna wait til the replay is available to catch the other matches.
Tanahashi looks to win A block
Yano now holds a victory over Kenny Omega. I take back every criticism I have of this tournament.

Naito is likely going to win and take on Tanahashi.

Kenny/Ibushi will be a draw
Naito will beat ZSJ
I fucking hate Yano. Fact.

But he's helped my boy Naito in his quest to go back to back. So I'll give him some temporary props. I'll hate him again tomorrow.

Win the Day!

Yano's the best

Omega vs. Ishii from the other night got a 5.5 from Big Dave

Toru Yano vs Tama Tonga
Kenny Omega vs Kota Ibushi

Omega holds the tie-breakers over Naito and ZSJ.

Tetsuya Naito winning scenarios and tie-breakers:

Naito needs a win or a draw against ZSJ and for Ibushi to defeat Omega or for Omega vs Ibushi to go to a draw.

Kota Ibushi Winning Scenarios and tie-breakers

Ibushi needs to beat Omega and ZSJ needs to beat Naito.
Ibushi holds the tie-breaker over ZSJ.
He will face Omega on the final night.
BULLET CLUB OG; Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, Bad Luck Fale have made the unfortunate decision to intervene in matches which have resulted in multiple disqualifications in this G1 CLIMAX 28. New Japan Pro-Wrestling has made a decision to impose a three month suspension and a fine to each member(s) of BULLET CLUB OG if they intervene in any G1 CLIMAX 28 tournament B-block match tomorrow.
Okada vs Tanahashi was fan fucking tastic.

ZSJ vs Naito IS MUST SEE. They melded well together.

Kenny Omega vs Kota Ibushi may be just as good as Omega/Okada III
Just got caught up. Good lawdy what a tournament. Omega vs. Ibushi was insane.

That's some bullfuck. How they gon' do Naito like that??

Win the Day!

I assume he gets a rematch with Jericho at WK and gets his win back maybe?

Jericho holding up the IC title like hes Brock Lesnar or some shit.

So some interesting notes (spoilerish below)
But before that, enjoy this:

Okada and Gedo are breaking up. Maybe in a few years we will get a Macho Man/Liz moment.

lMore importantly...the new WK logo features a star which is golden. You do the math.

Quick edit: Tana won G1 (twirls finger in the air). Kota might still challenge for the briefcase (or someone else). Tanahashi vs. Omega just doesn't do much for me, especially if they main event WK.

Yeah I just finished the match. It was great just not what I expected. They love Tanahashi though.

Tanahashi makes no sense unless they’re “punishing” Kenny Omega and Ibushi from having a WK Main event match because of Kenny Omega possibly leaving.

The whole NJPW booking this year is weird.
Okada, arguably their greatest champion in decades is now an after thought like night and day after losing to Kenny Omega. And his new gimmick is stupid as hell.

Omega finally wins the IWGP title and will likely lose it before WK. Making the title change hands at least twice before WK.

Naito flat out lost to ZSJ, lost to Jericho, lost to Okada at WK. punking him out.

Kenny Omega losing to Yano makes no sense, could have had him lose to someone else and have it meant more. But he’s now gotta defend against Ishii and likely Yano before the end of the year.

Bucks and Scurll dropped the Never 6man tag titles to G.O.D. and Tama Tonga threw the belts out of the ring.

Ishii may have a Never title match against Goto later this year, too.

Juice is the US champ and lost nearly all of his matches in the G1. Makes no sense.
james gunn probably loves sex with faggot

What the entire fuck bj0rn?

Okada is going to be challenging for Tanahashi's contract in the next month or two. My guess is maybe Jericho comes in and costs Okada the match, to set up a match between them at WK.

No idea where that leaves Naito though
[Image: jx9SHdi.png]

I seriously thought they were going to fix their major fuck up of not riding that Naito/LIJ wave that was going on earlier this year.

Win the Day!

I mean, NJPW is doing the best business they've done in 20 years and the matches are incredible. So it's hard to say that they're truly fucking up. But I sure don't know what the fuck they're thinking with Naito anymore.

I have concerns with NJPWs direction. I dont like Meij as an onscreen character, and wtf are they doing with Okada.

I'm fine with Meij as an on-screen character as long as it's done very sparingly. Like Jack Tunney in old WWF kinda thing. That's fine.

Okada, I don't know. But I'm not losing faith there yet. Gedo isn't going to drop the ball on Okada.
