From what I have heard, they focus a ton on his drinking and the legend of Ric Flair (not the facts) then gloss over his run in the 90s and beyond. It sounds like they could have done 30 different 30 for 30's on Ric.

Tbf, really you could end a retrospective Flair with his WWF run. After he returned to WCW, it was really downhill from there. His retirement against Hogan, bad booking and fighting with WCW, his WWE run had moments-Evolution, the retirement match, but really the legend of Ric Flair peaks with that Rumble victory.

yeah if the whole thing is just on 80s and early 90s legendary flair things i'd be completely ok with that

My only complaint would be if they build up his party lifestyle, talk about him becoming an alcoholic, and then gloss over 1990-2015 as a "drinking binge" and then focus on the death of his son. Skipping 25 years of shenanigans in and out of the ring is a bit too much to ignore but we shall see.

I enjoyed it. Obviously it covered most of what all of us already knew but it was a good documentary for casual non-wrestling fans.

Basically it was just good enough to be good, although non fans will probably think it is great. We are all spoiled by the awesome wwe produced documentaries we've seen. This was nowhere near that level

Mad Mad Mad

Heel Hogan was a .500 wrestler!!!!!

And I guess I had another 20+ mins left on my last post. No BS guys, when they showed a couple TNA highlights it actually looked like they were wrestling in a decent sized arena that was packed. Good for them!!

I was there for the steel cage match in TNA when he got his pants pulled down. That was at Lockdown 09. It was about a half house at least for that show. Angle/Jarrett stole that one.

More like that was the only way they were gonna let Hogan on tv. He's still trying to repair his reputation

Finally finished this last night. It's pretty great but it skipped over so much. Not their fault. There's only so much you can tell in a 90 minute movie and Flair's life story deserves a mini-series.

I love the 30 for 30s. Not even that much of a wrestling guy but I thought it was really good.

Why don't you use a tablet or a PC or 100 other devices?

It works fine on Android but you may have to set your browser to Desktop mode:
