Evander Kane was playing with a separated shoulder and a partially torn MCL. Hockey players man. Different breed

Interesting that whoever comes out of the West will be making their first ever Stanley Cup appearance. Both have been a franchise for 6 years COMBINED.

Damnit what the fuck Jackets?!

And it will also be the 3rd straight year the West will have its first ever conference champion team, I just hope it isn't the same bullshit where they end up losing in the Final. Unless its Washington that wins the East, I would root for them over Winnipeg or Vegas.

I have a strange feeling this is Washington's year but we'll see

Technically the Jets franchise is older than 5 years. Little and Enstrom were on the team before they moved. Might also have some guys that were drafted by Atlanta.

Pekka Rinne got pulled after 7 shots in a game 7. His time in Nashville has to be over.

The Jets don’t have a single free agent on their team other than their back up goalie.

Everyone is drafted or traded for. That’s incredible

Caps up 4-0 already. TB has no answer at all. Every series the Caps seem to get better.

That depth of Winni is already proving to be a problem for VGK.

Yeah because they're doing well, let me know how much their "fans" care when they start sucking.

Reaves finally got into a game for Vegas.

They lost.

I think they will more than you think. They don't have any other professional sport after they have been asking for one for the longest period of time and I don't think the Raiders are going to be as popular there either because they weren't born in the city as VGK was. That city has really been behind VGK since they were announced.

They’ll be about a billion times better than Kings fans. At least Vegas fans cheer.

Seattle isn't even official yet and they already appear to be off to a better start than Vegas was as far ticket sales goes.

Why would I be bitter? Most of their fans over there were probably Kings fans before this season anyways.

I don't even know why you brought up fan support to begin with, I was just saying Vegas reminds of the the 2012 Coyotes in the sense that they won a weak Pacific division and are riding a hot goaltender all the way to the conference final. They've only played one game so far and the series is far from over but this Jets team might be like the 2012 Kings and end this years version of the 2012 Coyotes. But we'll just have to wait and see to really know for sure...

Meanwhile the Caps are snatching the heart out of TB. I knew they'd win the series but unless TB can figure shit out real quick it'll be curtains.

And I just pointed out the above obvious fact that the Yotes don’t have a fan base. You’re the one who decided for some reason to take it personally

I didn't take it personally, I just think its a bit premature to already declare them such an amazing fan base. They were going to get buzz locally right out the gate being their first ever pro sports team (XFL doesn't count) and having as good of a start as they have had will only add to that obviously. Before this season even started I expected lots of people to show up either way for the first season but as time goes on and it isn't something new anymore I was a bit skeptical about them being able to keep it up. Only time will tell to really know for sure and if they're able to sustain the success they're having will probably play a factor as well.

Btw Go Caps

What an awesome start to this series they're having, hopefully they can keep it up. And Backstrom hasn't even returned yet.
