So long sad story short, my Dad died a while back, I spread his ashes in the places he wanted but he did request one last (difficult) place: Upstate New York.



So I will be heading out there at some point this year and it isn't something I am exactly looking forward to (and I will be doing it alone). I don't want the trip to be more than a weekend and I was thinking of taking a day trip after the ashes are taken care of. There are some major cities within driving distance so I ask you KBC - where would you go for the day?

dude... if I was out around Buffalo, I would see how far it is to either Niagra Falls or Cooperstown to see the Baseball hall of fame.

I have a trip planned to both of those places this summer myself.

I would of course say NYC, but that's a long ass drive from where you are pointing on that map

If it's Upstate NY, it has to be the Falls.

Btw, the falls are 20 miles north of Buffalo.
