After I get done fuckin' or smoking some ganja, a nice menthol sets it the fuck off! Straight up feel stoned after a good sexing and a Newport! Also, when I take opiates, menthols seem so fucking amazing! I feel bad though cause I didn't used to be so bad, but now when I hit a Newport after not having one, like going on break and smoking one, makes me feel like I can breath again, when in fact it's quite opposite.

I've been smoking for going on 8 years now, and 7 of them have been strictly menthol (Marlboro Smooths, to be exact). But nowadays, there are times where menthols make me gag, and regular cigarettes don't cut it for me.

ugh... smoking. I quit for a year and a half and didn't even think about cigarettes, even when i was drinking. I had it whipped. Screwed up and started back. I quit twice since i started back for a month and 3 weeks. I feel like I can but I just don't have that motivation I once had to keep saying no.

I'm going to get there though!

Current pain in my ass: Time Warner Cable - when I got my new place I called them to have my service switched from my old apartment to my new one. Everything appeared to go smoothly and on schedule until I was informed that they simply "closed" my old account and opened a new one. I was actually under the assumption that my bill would not jump up too high, but it has by 40 bucks.

I emphasize the word closed because they never closed it. I got charged under 2 accounts for Feb at an increased rate which literally tripled my bill. I've called them several times and have just recently gotten assurance that the outstanding Feb charge on my old account is in the process of being wiped out, but "these things take time".

I even went as far as to tell the woman i talked to that opening a brand new account under my name as opposed to simply changing the address on the account I already had was damn stupid. I guess they got something extra out of me by opening the new account. It's just seems suspect.

No wonder people download. Fuck cable companies. It's a big hassle

My girlfriend dropped a bombshell that she wants to work only part time and move to a cheaper apartment. This means me picking up a larger portion of the bills and seeing her considerably less. She is doing this to concentrate on school which I agree with...but it throws our "set" plan out the window. School seems to have come pretty naturally for her up until now and I'm thinking that scares her. She needs to work harder at it but who am I to judge - I hated school. To make matters worse, I was overly supportive and pledged to use my savings to help make this work when/if times get tough...now I am having second thoughts.

I have had my video editing stuff for a while now and haven't worked on much of anything. have a few projects in mind and I am hoping that purchasing a new camera will give me the drive that I need to get started on the things that I want to do with my life.

On a weekly basis I have dreams (usually bad) about my father who died a little over a year ago. I seem to bring it up a lot on here but maybe that is because I don't have a lot of places I can bring it up. The more I do in life, the more I miss him. There is so much I would have liked to have shared with him but never will get the chance to. This year I plan on putting the last of his ashes to rest out near where he was born and I am hoping that will give me some sort of peace or resolve.

The longer I live in San Diego, the less I like it. However, the more I visit my home state of Washington, the more I am glad I moved away.

My health is just...horrible.

I am surrounded by idiots at my job but I doubt I can find much out there that pays this well for such little work.

I'm excited to go do Wrestlemania week! I am going to the WWE Fan Axxess Festival, Wrestlereunion VI festival, WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony, Dragon Gate USA show, $5 Wrestling Live, Q&A Live with Jake the Snake Roberts, Wrestlemania XXVIII, and WWE Raw. It should be a fun-filled week! I'll also be doing a things here and a thing there in Florida...but I'm not half as interested in the rest of it as I am in the wrestling.

This past weekend I went 4xing in the desert, saw a snake, collected rocks, gambled, fed wild burros (donkeys), and shit like that...good times.

I should have showered today.

privyet, tovarishch. i'm teaching myself russian, downloaded rosetta and using a few websites.. so far its alright. just finished memorizing the alphabet today, it'll take awhile before its more natural for me and i can really read the letters. after that'll it's flat out memorization and learning their grammar rules.

Quit smoking 2 weeks ago. Did what chad did, ran out and decide to just go with it.

Going back to school in June to be a paramedic since the whole computer thing never really worked out for me.

Have a GF, no idea how much longer this is gonna last so I'm just riding the wave until it moves on to another surfer.

Been smoke free (tobacco and weed) since like August 2010. Being told you'll die pretty quickly if you ever start smoking again is a great way to stop smoking. However, at least three to four times a week, I dream that I'm smoking weed, going to get weed, or just got a big bag of weed. Whenever I smoke in my dream, I'm scared as shit that I'm killing myself. I was high for about twelve years straight, so I imagine it'll take some serious time before these dreams go away.

Heart's doing pretty great, haven't had any real issues. I need to eat better and exercise more than I do, but I think that's pretty much everybody.

Almost dying kinda put my ass in gear. Went out and met a great girl, and we've been together for about ten months thus far. I spend far less on trinkets and useless junk like comic books and toys, and tend to save my money for either hobbies like magic, or more importantly, experiences like concerts and conventions. I'm also enrolled in college, and while I'm only taking two courses (English 101 and Math 40), I'm really enjoying being a student again. I get to spend a lot more time with my daughter than I used to, which is freakin' amazing. She's eight now, and she's just so much fun. We watch wrestling together (her favorite is Big Show), make little movies and videos together, and just have good ol' quality time.

Life's pretty great.

I may be jinxing it, but I just wanna say it's great that we can even have a thread like this go without any bullshit trolling.

Well, moved to CO from San Diego almost a year ago to the day. Miss San Diego like crazy but I have had much better luck out here in CO job wise and that's what counts now. Worked at a tile store since April of last year I was working 40 hours or close to it from when I got hired up until December when they cut me down to 12 hours a week, I couldn't fucking believe it. So I told them I'd have a new job soon if they didn't bump my hours so I managed to find this security job which is a bit more money, guaranteed full time,benefits and I just sit there reading or watching Netflix on my phone.

Got engaged to my lady, gonna re tile the bathroom of my place, and been getting after it in the gym. Stoked for the snow to start clearing up and start skating more and hiking with my dumb ass dogs.

I'm using the money I'm saving by quitting smoking to buy a gym membership, and will be hitting it every chance I get. Figure I might as well make as many healthy choices as possible since there's not much else to do when you live in a matchbox-sized town in the woods that's at least an hour from the nearest city.

Arabic is so alien it may be easier or harder for you. So far the hardest for me are the roman letters that are different sounds in russian. H is N, P is R, B is V in russian. The letter that look nothing like ours have been the easiest for me.

I haven't even used Rosetta much in the past few days, it doesn't cover the alphabet much and goes straight to immersion. Been spending time on "learn to speak" websites and youtube channels getting the алфавит memorized.

if rosetta works out, i may actually buy it. only have lessons 1-3 downloaded, will need the other 2.

I'm looking at a promotion at work.. it looks like I'm the guy, but I won't know for certain until they make the decision. Things are paying off for leaving FedEx and getting into banking.

My wife is preggers. That's pretty freaking awesome. Some of you may know why that's awesome, most won't.

I'm writing alot more music these days, and that's a great outlet.

I'm also in school full time, and that is wearing me out, but I know it'll be worth it.

Working, Living in Mass is cool, but I'd be lying my ass off if I said I didn't miss Minnesota, I miss all my friends and family there, I miss the food, I miss not being surrounded by Asians. I can't wait to go back and visit in June.

Other than that, I like my job alright, It's a bit boring selling Cell Phones at a Staples store, since there aren't exactly a lot of people coming in there looking for cell phones. But i digress, I get paid $11 an hour plus commission for relatively little work.

Having a steady girlfriend for the first time in my life, and living with her, is pretty cool. I get sex pretty much whenever I want it. She's the easiest person I have ever lived with. I really don't know many people here in Mass, which blows, but I could meet more if I got out more, it's just after being on my feet for 8 hours at work I don't really feel like going out and socializing. I guess i'm just at that age where I don't give a fuck and my online buddies are fine with me. lol

Get my first degree in May, with intent to transfer for a BS in writing... We'll see how that works, since I know that jobs in that field are not the easiest to find.

Overall, I'd say life is pretty fucking sweet right now.

This is great news... even if you don't become hardcore Sir Lift A Lot... you will see new doors open up for you by working out... not just in the world but in your own personal life... my suggestion ? Dive in head first man... don't be afraid don't think everyone is "laughing" at you because your the new guy... just do your thing man... I swear every lifter/workoutalo says the very same thing "I wish I started off going all out instead of 1/2 assing it" you have a great opportunity right now man.. after you pass the soreness phase your body is honestly like a sponge everything you do will get sucked up right away... the first 4-6 weeks are amazing times in a gym... feel free to PM me if you ever want to chat or need a push or just feel like sharing your goals or how your doing... trust me man if you give this an honest attempt you will become a new man... too many people 1/2 ass it and start off strong then give up in 2 weeks or start missing days... write some goals down long medium short a stick to it man... helped design 2 machines at work, now going through and creating all the engineering packages. it sucks because we keep making changes, and i kept thinking we were almost done. we're swamped with projects so i want to wrap this one up ASAP.

was seeing a younger chick, but she pissed me off with how clingy she was, so i'm back to rolling han solo.

switched from a desktop to a laptop because my desktop died on me. i think i should've just got another desktop, but i like the portability.

quitting smoking didn't work out because of drinking.

i think that sums up the past few months.

I'm not gonna make it my main activity or anything, just gonna do it instead of smoking and being on drugs all the time. 2012 is gonna be the year of healthy change for me I guess. The only goal I have is to be able to leg press like I could in high school (1700 x 24 without breaking a sweat), and anything else I accomplish is just a bonus.
