So i'm going through and downloading all the amazing moments I remember as a kid and am sort of a completionist. Sure someone here knows, seriously, an exact date the "attitude" era started.

I'm trying to get the last flame of the 80's gimmicky shit then as stated, the Attitude era, all the way up to the ECW rehash or maybe just the first ONS, anyway....please n' thanks!

Also trying to get some classic shit also but i'm mainly focused on getting what I grew up on, ECW, WWE, and WCW are all pretty easy to keep up with and ran together, is what i'm getting at I guess what are other memorable feuds/events should I keep my eye on?

Getting it to an exact date is difficult but if I had to choose I'd say March 23, 1997. That was WrestleMania 13 in Chicago where the crowd cheered Austin & booed Bret Hart in their submission match.

Nice, just figured there was that defining OMG moment like when Shane Douglas chucked the belt...I was looking for a bit of a backdrop to the actual "event" so i'll proably just take it from the first Raw ECW invasion from the 90's. I was super young when Attitude started, hell could've still been on one hand, just remember the late 90's as the golden age and didn't really remember if that moment was there. I'm 21 now, started watching when Raw was just the big RAW sign...now i'm just trying to relive all that and then some! Rock @Mania=Nostalgia like a motherfucker! Even if it wasn't decades ago, anytime The Rock's music hits, I am that 6 year old mark laying on the floor eating junk food and quoting "Finally, The Rock has come back to *Insert city*"

I didn't ask for anyone to make a pin point timeline, it was just a question about the wrestling timeline. Title can be misleading but saying "The first HC match was this date, so imo this is what started it" or something would be better! But thank you Sal! I'm trying to complete MY wrestling collection. I'm a 90's baby and just wanted to capture all of it. I respect the 80's and all the previous history, just looking to get everything I've been around for.

I would say it's more likely that the birth of Austin 3:16 or DX would be more the beginning of Attitude.

I would be down for that, but can't cause cash flow problems. If I get my taxes back quick enough I just might, It doesn't seem to bad just feel lame cause I can do all the work myself...but i'd have to pick up a HD Also do you make customized HD's??? Like If I wanted pretty much the attitude era? Basically i'm looking to find that "moment" as I mentioned above, mainly I want a month or so before the era technically started, as a build up into it, then the attitude era, basically to the end of The Evolution or right before WWECW started. If that will fit on the HD I really may consider it! I'm looking into getting EVERYTHING on HDs anyway so holler at me Wiggz!

It's too much work on my part to go through and make custom hard drives. I would probably charge the same price so you might as well get it all, right?

I'm surprised nobody mentioned this, but if I had to pinpoint an exact time and date that the Attitude Era began, I would say that it was the King of the Ring PPV in 1996. That was the year that Stone Cold won and gave this most famous speech...

Definitely start with the KotR promo by Stone Cold. I'd say that kicked it off.

You brought up that Austin/Tillman gun incident and crazy memories flashed into my head about that. I can't believe how nuts that was when I was a kid. I always hated how the screen went to static when Tillman fired that gun... shit left me in suspense.
