As far as Luger goes...he SHOULD have won the strap at SummerSlam 93 after he slammed Yoko on the deck of the intreped. Vince wanted the next Hogan, let Lex win in heros fashion at SS 93 and I think he would have had a chance to be WAY bigger than he was.

No, both Benoit and Christian won the World titles, not the WWE. There's a difference.

WWE title is not the same as the WHC.

Yeah, basically the only title that counts is whichever one is on Raw at any given time.

So while Benoit didn't win the WWE title, he won the A-show title at the time (WHC) so I say it counts.

Well, it depends upon who has it...but that's mostly true.

Actually, if I remember correctly, when they chose to split the belts, they had originally planned on the IC Title being the top title on the RAW brand (this is when they were still trying to establish Smackdown as a co-A Show, not the obvious b-show as it is now) but Trips (the then champion) put the kabosh on it because he thought the IC Title was beneath him... That is when Flair came in and they brought back the big gold belt and made it the World Heavyweight Championship on RAW Brand.

It was kinda cool, but kinda dumb as well, since it basically shit all over one of the most storied titles in history.

Both Vader and Luger should have had a run at some point: Luger in his 'lex express' days, vader in his only run in '96-'97.
and i'm definitely in the camp as a fan of Owen Hart. HATED bret hart, loved owen. their feud in '94 was epic and owen shoulda took the strap at some point there.

and i know he has never been in WWF, but i gotta mention Sting. i'm still hoping for a dream match at WrestleMania and a HoF induction in the near future for the guy.

Im in the camp of people that were sad Sting didnt sign around the time Nash resigned recently. Sting deserves a bullshit Hall of Fame induction just as much as any of them have.

Bob Holly imo. Maybe cause I dig him but also cause he's actually paid his dues and was around for a really long time. They just midcarded him to death and made him a top "hardcore" guy and tried putting him over way to late in WWECW. I like the way they give smaller guys and people they would've never in the 90s a shot, but sometimes the old champion poster boy tarnishes my views on todays champions. I just don't feel Daniel Bryan is exciting enough based off last nights PPV, i'm playing catch up before 'Mania so i'll see...

The crazy thing is that in every organization that he was involved in, he was pushed to the main event picture right away. I think his very first match in ECW was against Shane Douglas who was champ at the time.

Part of the problem was that at the time that he came to WWE, it was when Michaels' ego was running the show and therefore nobody else but he or Bret could be in the picture. In my opinion, that's the only thing that ever held him back besides the eventual Austin-era.
