As you may know I'm anti Taker-HHH 3 but that exchange between Shawn and Trips was pretty damn cool, or at least I thought so. For whatever reason I loved the whole Cena-Eve-Ryder thing tonite too.

The HHH/HBK exchange made the show for me. I too am against the match but that damn near sold me on it. It was a direction I hadn't though too much about, Taker being looked at as a brand.

It is well known that Taker wore a wig upon his return so I am glad they are explaining him cutting off his hair...but its very random.

Yeah, I don't know what they are acknowledging with the hair cutting scene. Are they admitting he cut his hair at one point or that he wore a wig? Or both? lol

smackdown needs a few more people, their main event scene is very limited, could benefit from a miz or del rio

The hair cutting thing may be a way for them to cover their asses if he chooses not to wear the wig again. Him being a "brand" angle could play-in with Undertaker "altering his image" and being rebellious, thus leading to HHH to confront him saying "we can't have this happening" and the fight being on. Silly, cheap, but what else do you expect?

That was probably the best bump I've seen on Raw in YEARS. Props to Ryder taking that shit.

Foley appears to be pretty pissed about the angle:
Mick Foley on Twitter Wrote:Yeah, @Joeystyles I'm legit concerned for @zackryder. There's just way too much risk there. That fall off the ramp might not be something you can get through with fortitude and ice packs. Zack has such a bright future; I hate to see his knees, ankles and spine at such risk. That's the type of thing that could cost him weeks or months at the most vital time of his career.

Seems kind of... odd for Mick Foley to be criticizing it seeing as that is how he made his entire career. Plus, when was the last time we saw a bump that didn't feature a fucking break away table or break away stage?

Looks like Zack Ryder.... is finally getting pushed!

Someone needs to take the video of Ryder's bump and shrink it with the Dukes of Hazzard theme song.

RE: Official calling into work and going to Raw Thread
Hmmmm, I guess it was a half decent Raw? The debate wasnt overly too bad but it was sure as hell unnecessary.

Ya Miz did look tired as fuck in his match or he was playing it super safe, Ill have to agree with writing him off for awhile and bringing him back as a face, not a fan of his at all but he needs a change cause what hes doing now just aint working to get him over.

I fast forwarded the divas match and all of the Kane-Cena-Eve-Ryder bull, just not interested, but I did rewind for that Ryder bump LOL.

The HHH/ HBK bit was pretty good though. I liked how he threw in the "Your not gonna live what you couldnt accomplish through me Shawn" bit. I just thought it was funny how as soon as HBK came out I was sitting there thinking to myself why do I know this is gonna end with them arguing.

It sounds like Foley is playing into it, not legit upset. Besides, I have heard that they used some padding and carpet for the bump.

Carpet/padding/whatever the fuck did not move when Ryder hit it. I'm not saying it was pure concrete but even if he landed on a pad, that shit hurt.

Trips vs Underwear... (Frankenstein vs His Monster)

Taker will take apart WWE until Trips decides to take him on.

I wonder if Taker will go personal with it.

Nothing gets under Trips skin worse than fucking with his family. Would be classic if we saw another Stephanie kidnap.

(02-14-2012 12:36 AM)Chris Wrote:  My notes from tonight:

-Good lord do I hate wrestling fans.

-Like I said, my seat was awesome. I was right next to the production crew seemed like a lot of fun. Apparently some stupid wrestling fan got into the talent parking lot (they dont have a garage) and pissed all over one of the busses.

-Really annoying black people around me, two well behaved ones right next to me. One trash dude in the front row spent the whole night trying to get himself over. He would shout out the most random shit and sometimes it would be funny...other times not so much. He virtually attacked Jerry Lawler from behind when Jerry tried to leave through the crowd. The guy put his arm around Lawler's neck and shoulders and walked with him and Jerry looked confused, pissed, and WTFish. I made eye contact with Brooklyn Brawler. That was a weird moment.

-Superstars had Mayson Ryan botch several moves with Jack Thwaggar. I got a semi watching Vicky's side boob jiggle while she clapped. More confetti fell during this match.

-No big Pyro to start out the show. I kept waiting for it and looked around to see why it didn't go off only to realize all the wrestlers were in the ring. So no Sal, they didn't make their own entrances.

-The arena is tiny and they were nowhere near a sellout. It looked to be 80% filled with the available seats. However, huge sections were tarped off and blacked out. I know this is a normal practice but like I said, the arena was small and they tarped off sections that just about anyone else would have sold SOME seating for.

-Biggest pop of the night was for HBK.

-Everyone laughed at Big Show's botch and laughed even harder (in my section) at Ryder flying off the ramp in the wheel chair.

-Miz/Punk match was uninspired and just seemed to go through the motions. Dark match was Punk vs. Dolph and it was mostly the same. However, through out the entire night, Punk was entertaining as fuck when the camera wasn't on him. He was doing all sorts of goofy shit during the debate and had a lot of fun with the crowd after the show, celebrating with the audience and whatnot. He even got on the mic and had the crowd do the "Woo Woo Woo" in memory of Zack Ryder as he looked into the rafters all teary-eyed and said "I'll miss ya buddy."

Overall the show was okay. I had a better time enjoying watching the behind the scenes stuff and some of the up and comers. I will post pics tomorrow but my camera was having issues with its focus and the WWE lighting. My cell phone came in handy but has slow response time. One last entertaining thing (for me). One of the production assistants tore up his script for the night and threw it on the ground. I grabbed it at the end of the show and am piecing it back together. I am a little let down as it only seems to have match order, wrestlers and referees. However, it does show who produced the segments - Arn, Dean Malenko, and Dustin Rhodes are the names I have seen thus far.

I agree about the Miz. I think he needs a world title run over on Smackdown.
DUSTIN or Dusty?
I'd be really interested to see a scan/pics of the script pages... never seen one..

Wurd... good for Dustin. He always seemed like a good guy. Glad he found a niche and didnt have to get stuck doing shitty indy shows for the next 20 years to pay the rent.

And yeah, I wasnt expecting you to post the shit up here... I'd just like a peek at it cuz im curious of that sort of thing... and, i'm sure Jen will be flattered you're curious about HER sort of things Wink
