i think matt hasselbeck did a nice job with the titans this year. if only he had the chris johnson of the past to help him out. im very excited about jake locker beginning his era. every time he played this year he looked very sharp and comfortable. made some huge passes and even won a couple of games. hasselbeck could be the starter again next season, i doubt it, im fine with it either way.

I know its a bit homerish to post this but that drive was really the most exciting drive I witnessed this season. I had so many heart attacks during that 2 minutes, especially where the ball comes off Rice's fingertips and is almost intercepted.

Being at the Lions first MNF game at Ford Field and being at the playoff clincher against the SuperChargers. Those two games were worth $504, the other games were throw ins. Also the fact that when I finally was able to get season tix the team returned to the playoffs......and are increasing prices by 8% in 2012.

Matt Stafford throwing for over 5,000 yards and 41 TDs was pretty cool too. I especially got a kick out of him being the #6 QB for the Pro Bowl. Cam Newton & Tony Romo were #4 and #5. Not really that salty about it as the Pro Bowl sucks anyways.

He won the Comeback POY award too!

week two was great, when the titans CRUSHED baltimore.

The rules specifically allow ball carriers to stiff-arm opposing players face masks or use hands to the face without getting called for an incidental face mask penalty (the 5-yard kind).

They're not allowed to grab and twist to throw the defender down or use a blow to the head with force behind it to apply the stiff arm. Its a 15 yarder if its even called then. Clearly none of that happened there.

So yes..the no call face mask that wasnt called because it was legal. Thats what I was talking about.

The five yard face mask hasnt existed for a couple of seasons now.

Yeah I forgot they are all 15 yard penalties now..which is lame as fuck because shit happens.

Another personal one is the fact that my streak of one or more fantasy championships in 5 straight seasons came to an end this year. Then I won my playoff league and made this just now to harass my friends:

I lost my playoff league to TCK by 0.79 overall points. Gah!

Watching Billy Cundiff fuck up a chip in field goal reminding everybody that the Ravens always tend to choke when it matters the most in the playoffs. I can't think of anything great about the Steelers season, so I'm just being bitter here.

The second the Minnesota Vikings' season was over... This year was painful, having to watch Ponder as QB for at least the next year to year and a half has me absolutely nauseous.

Sorry it wasn't a team that only lost to playoff teams and also wasn't the "favorite team of the week". They'll try harder next year.
