Oh my. Really? Mike ferrara, dude from the Fox said those plays happen dozens of time each game. They are not called
Fuck the excuses. The Steelers were awful

Or when you lose to the fucking Broncos in the playoffs???!!!! What a joke
Yes because the Steelers were totally the same team as they limped out of the tunnel.
Also: if losing to the Broncos in Denver in OT=a no excuse joke, what is getting beat by double digits in your home field by a 9-7 team considered?

That's what I don't understand about Opti's logic.
In the NFL post-season, every victory is earned and every team involved has a chance of excelling. Doesn't matter how much better an opponent is on paper. It isn't like college football where having the best record automatically shoes you into the championship.

So just because they were further able to capitalize and win it all that solidifies the defending champs shitting their pants on their home field?

Not at all. Losing to the best team in the league means they lost to the best team in the league. Not the fucking Broncos

RE: post your fondest memories of the 2011 NFL season
They still had to watch the rest of the playoffs from home just like the Steelers at the end of the day.
Losing is losing regardless of who it is to.

Agreed, it's more sad that it was the Broncos they lost to.
I'd rather lose to the champs at the end of the day. Maybe you'd rather lose to Tebow? Not me

I'd rather not lose no matter who it's to but they wouldn't have gone far any way so at least they sparred everyone.

I'm talking about the Steelers. There was no way they were going anywhere without Mendy, Pouncey, Clark, Hampton and Keisel.

That Mike Ferrari faggot that Opti mentioned was head of officiating or some shit & he's fucking terri-bad, prolly why most refs suck balls. If I ever win the lotto I'll pay Fox to keep that stupid ass of the air.

I'll agree he's a moron but he's very honest. The refs dont call that penalty 90% of the time. Is it right? no, but hey, what can ya do?

RE: post your fondest memories of the 2011 NFL season
Probably Cam Newton's outstanding rookie of the year season - particular his 51 yard dash against the Vikings.. when all college football fans expected him to be the next Jamarcus Russell
Honorable mentions:
The Steelers ejection from the playoffs
The Saints exit from the playoffs
