Well its my turn with one of these threads.

I really don't know how to explain how I am feeling because quite frankly it doesn't sound that bad but I cannot help the way that I feel.

I am a cook and should expect long shitty hours except I am not. This week my work sent me to the "mother" company to help them out with an event, the Royal Winter Fair. I am here for the week (tues-sunday).
I worked 10 hours on tuesday and 12.5 hours yesterday. I am not looking forward to going in today because I know its going to be another 12 hour day. I got home yesterday around 10pm which gives me about 2 hours for being up and then have to go to bed so i can rest up for the next day.

Yeah, I know. But dunk its not that big of a deal. Its just this week but I get this anxiety that makes me want to just say fuck it and not go in. I feel like I am trapped. I feel like I don't have anything to look forward to because I just have to go back to work. I guess its because I am just not ready for the day. I just wake up and have to go straight into a 12 hour day, come home and go right to bed. I didn't want to go to bed last night because I know that it only makes the day come faster.

Doesn't really sit well with me.

Fuck.. I am not a good robot for grinding work.

How many hours is that in American time?

Do you ever get any sort of high before or during work?

i'm sure you're asking dunk, but i'll answer anyway

i haven't ever gotten high for 'my career' at this place...going on 8 years in march.

i used to get high everyday before work at my other bullshit jobs.

Working in a kitchen high is bad business.

I usually get high before I leave the house in the morning. Don't get high during but thinking about it right now

When I worked in kitchens in the past, I'd wait until just before closing time and go out back and smoke a fatty, then before tearing down and cleaning up, make myself amazing concoctions of deliciousness to munch the fuck down on.

When I'm working, I'll smoke one before I go to work. And I'll already have another one rolled for around closing time before I start doing all the major cleaning.
