I noticed this on users profiles, wtf is it.

Spambots can defeat the captcha and by design they can only fill out the fields presented to them. I've added a new one which, as far as the bot knows, has a calculated risk of failure even though you can say w/e you want and still register. This will throw the bot off and dump a log for the dev to look at and attempt to code around. Little does the dev know that when the bot succeeds I'll just put a new one in.

So... what is it?

Just a simple selection of 3 choices you HAVE to pick to register. The bot will believe that this is coded with only one right answer (calculated risk of failure). In reality it doesn't matter as long as you pick one.

Robots made of Spam should be easy to defeat. You'd think the terrorists would use a metal of some sort.

Hell some spam companies don't even use bots to spam forums anymore. It's Indians that are paid to post once or twice to make you think they're legit and then they start their spamming bullshit.

Spambots are cool. They troll people. brings the lulz you know.
